Nailcote Hall launches an annual 'Bride of the Year' competition.
The 17th Century Nailcote Hall in the heart of rural Warwickshire, near the village of Berkswell, has launched an annual award scheme whereby, each year, the hotel will award a lucky bride and groom a 'Free Wedding Reception' complete with use of the bridal suite - and also the Civil ceremony hire charge - if the couple are being married at the Hotel.
Nailcote was, in fact, the first hotel in Britain to be granted a licence for civil ceremonies - and today the hotel is one of the Midland's most popular venues for wedding celebrations. The unique advantage of a spectacular setting in the hotel's Mediterranean style conservatory. Part of the attraction is the delightful setting of the hotel in its own park-life grounds and the elegance of the historic building itself - which forms the perfect backdrop for wedding photographs and Prestige photography who cover the wedding at Nailcote are contributing £200 towards the cost of the stunning album they provide on each occasion.
The inspiration to introduce an annual 'Bride of the Year' award follows the success, last year, of special celebrations when Nailcote awarded their '1000th wedding couple' a free reception - and held a party for all those who were in with a chance to be the lucky 1000th bride and groom. Next year, and in all future years, a draw will decide who wins the top prize of a free reception for family and guests valued at around £5000 - and there will be runners-up prizes all to be donated at a special 'Valentine's Party' on February 12th next year.
Anyone who has already booked a wedding reception at Nailcote which is being held in 2008 - and all those who make a booking before the end of January 2008 will be eligible to win the valuable prize. And if the lucky couple so wish they can upgrade their menu and drinks to be served from the wide choice available at the hotel.
So, when romance is in the air, it's good to know that Nailcote is rated by the AA as one of Britain's 'most romantic hotels' - and the hotel's new award scheme promises to be the icing on the wedding cake which, each year, will give one lucky couple the bet possible start to their married life.
